A highly interactive workshop designed to equip frontline healthcare providers with the confidence and essential skills in managing pediatric diabetes. Participants will engage in hands-on training stations on insulin administration, glucose monitoring, and emergency management with a focus on individualized, evidence-based care.

Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify the clinical presentation, diagnostic criteria, and classification of pediatric diabetes, including type, type 2, and less common forms.
- Demonstrate practical skills in insulin administration techniques, glucose monitoring devices, and insulin
pump usage. - Apply evidence-based strategies for initiating and adjusting insulin therapy in children and adolescents.
- Recognize and manage acute diabetes emergencies, such as hypoglycemia and diabetic ketoacidosis, in
frontline settings. - Counsel patients and families on lifestyle modifications, including nutrition, exercise, and psychosocial support
for children with diabetes. - Integrate multidisciplinary approaches to optimize long-term outcomes and transition of care into adolescence and adulthood.
